Schedule an interview with the District Board of Ministry during LEAD Day. LEAD Day is the last Friday-Saturday in January First-time applicants and Ordination candidates will have individual interviews on that Saturday. Information on LEAD Day will be sent to all applicants.

Sign up for a mentoring relationship with an approved district mentor (contact Rev. Tim King, mentoring@norcal.org) and complete any assigned follow-up work required as a result of MCW attendance and completion.

District Licensed pastors will participate in a coaching cohort every other month where there will be opportunities for leadership training and peer appreciative inquiry processing. Each candidate will hand in an annual Personal Development Plan (PDP).
Prerequisites: Local License for 1 year and History and Polity, and the Doctrine of Holiness class, + 4 other classes. Please send your transcripts to the District Board of Ministry (DBM) studies secretary, contact Rev. Cielo Perez (ministerialstudies@norcal.org) for confirmation of approved courses.

Attend the Ministerial Candidates Workshop (MCW) held annually at PLNU (contact Rev. Tim King, mentoring@norcal.org). It is preferred that the district license holder attend the MCW event in the fall of their second year of licensing. Report your mentoring sessions using this link. You must complete 6 sessions annually.
